The goal was to create a brand identity that was clear, minimal, and luxurious. Initially, the salon used a blue and grey color scheme for their branding, but it wasn't making an impact, especially on Instagram. The challenge was to redesign the brand's visual identity to increase visibility and engagement on social media, as well as to make the logo effective for use on digital platforms, printed materials, and cosmetic packaging.
I worked closely with the salon owner to rethink the brand's colour scheme and overall visual presentation. After analyzing the market and the target audience, we decided to switch the brand colours to grey and black, which offered a more striking and luxurious appearance. The Instagram grid was also updated to reflect the new colour scheme, ensuring the logo was prominent and aesthetically pleasing. We made these changes across all branding touch points, including social media, printing materials, and product packaging.
The rebranding efforts led to a noticeable increase in social media engagement, with more likes, comments, and shares on Instagram posts. The new branding also translated into improved visibility and customer attraction, contributing to a 45% increase in sales margins.
