In early 2021, I was tasked with refining the user experience flow for an app scheduled to launch in May of that year. The app was designed to assist a demographic of 18 to mid-thirties individuals in settling in Canada.
My responsibility was to fill in the gaps within the existing user experience, ensuring that the information and resources provided within the app were accessible and relevant to the target demographic. Additionally, I needed to ensure that the new designs and edits integrated seamlessly with the developers’ work. I worked on creating and refining screens that showcased key functionalities, such as a directory for restaurants and special deals, as well as detailed pages for businesses. I also focused on the news-sharing aspect of the app. Beyond the app itself, I contributed to the creation of marketing collateral to increase brand awareness.
